Baby shampoo stained kid's scalp???

Our son is blonde, fair skinned, and has dandruff like no other, lol. We just started using a different baby shampoo, and all of a sudden he has neon yellow flakes on his scalp!!! The underlying skin isn't stained, just the flakes (they'renormally white), and it looks bizarre. I've already tried using clarifying shampoo to strip the dyes out, but all that did was make his hair fluffier, so now it's even MORE noticable! What do I do???Baby shampoo stained kid's scalp???
Nothing you really can do, except get organic and/or natural baby shampoo, Burt's Bees has a good one (Target carries it), it's twice as much as the other stuff but is so much better for babies scalp. How old is your son? You may want to use a tiny bit of tea tree oil (dandruff cure, lice cure, stuffy nose cure, great stuff) in your hand of shampoo next time you wash his hair. Just one drop should do it. I would steer clear of the industrial machine cleaner (yes our beloved shampoos have an alter ego)

Also, don't shampoo too often, 3 x's a week at the most, shampooing too much strips essential oil from scalp. Get unrefined shea butter. Wash hair in the morning, dry then apply the shea butter. This stuff works wonders on my husbands psoriasis.

Hope this helpsBaby shampoo stained kid's scalp???
Take him to the GP, it sounds like sebbhoraic dermatitis.
He doesn't have dandruff, he probably has cradle cap. After shampooing use the soft baby brush to try to loosen the scales. If the scales don't loosen easily, rub a few drops of mineral oil, baby oil, or olive oil onto your baby's scalp. Let the oil soak into the scales for a few minutes, and then brush and shampoo your baby's hair as usual. If you leave the oil in your baby's hair, it may only allow more scales to accumulate on your baby's scalp.
It doesnt sound like a shampoo issue. It sounds more like cradle cap. Read more about it here:

A lot of babies get it, my son did too. I just used Paul Mitchell Baby Don't Cry shampoo %26amp; brushed his scalp gently %26amp; it eventually went away. Dont worry...it sounds totally normal.
